Weddings at the Castle

The romantic ambience of the castle offers the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding: Your marriage in the gotic castle chapel, a champagne reception in the historic courtyard or in the pompous knights´chamber.

The wedding couple spends the wedding night in style in our Grand Romantik De Luxe Hochzeits-Suite. The romantic courtyards of the castle and the idyll of the adjacent Castle park provide a perfect backdrop for your souvenir photos. At Matzen Castle everything is ready for the most beautiful day in your life!

The Castle´s Chapel and the knights' hall have a capacity of up to a maximum of 40 people.

You are welcome to book the castle chapel and the knights' hall exclusively* for € 2.000,- per day (from 10.00 to 19.00).

Since both rooms can be separated, the Knights' Hall may also be used separately. For the combination we charge € 2.000,-. The booking of the Knights' Hall without the chapel is €1.200,-.

You are also welcome to make an additional booking of the castle café and/or the castle courtyard for agape or champagne reception.

*Exclusive use means the use of the rooms in the same way as an ordinary hotel guest would use them, excluding the public and other hotel guests. Any request for use beyond this scope must be communicated in advance to the hotel management and approved by them.
